Polon Alfa DUR-40EX Optical Smoke Detector

About this product

Polon Alfa DUR-40Ex optical smoke detector is designed for detection of a visible smoke at the start of a fires flameless stage. The detector is installed behind a proper spark proof separator in explosion hazard areas. In the moment of a fire hazard, the detector transmits an alarm signal to the fire alarm control panel. The DUR-40EX detectors can operate in lines/loops of the IGNIS 1000 or on the sideline of ADC-4001M adapter in POLON 4000 fire alarm control panels.

Key features

• optical smoke detector for detection of visible smoke at a start of a fire’s fl ameless stage
• The DUR-40Ex is an intrinsically safe detector designed for installati on in explosion hazard zones.
• Detector can operate in POLON-ALFA manufactured fi re alarm system detector lines behind a proper spark proof separator.
• A photodiode, a radiati on detector located inside the measuring chamber
• The optical module is protected by a labyrinth, damping both external and direct radiati on of the emitting diode.
• After exceeding a pre-set regulation threshold, the detector sends an alarm signal to the control panel.
• The detector has a replaceable opti cal chamber
