1. Cookies and similar browser storage

Cookies are small values that a website or service stores in your browser. Local storage and session storage serve similar purposes but have different lifetimes. Safety Shops uses browser storage for website features and, when enabled with your consent, may use Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager for optional measurement.

You can browse without accepting optional analytics. Essential quote-list and security features remain available when you reject analytics. External providers, such as Google Maps, may use their own cookies and publish their own notices.

2. Essential and preference storage

Your quote list is saved in local storage under safety-shops-rfq-v1 so it remains available between visits. It contains selected catalogue products and requested quantities. Quote-form contact details are not saved in browser storage. Successfully submitted products are removed from the quote list; unsent selections remain available.

safetyshops_theme in local storage remembers your light or dark theme. safety-shops-cookie-consent-v1 records your analytics choice and the policy version. These local storage values have no automatic expiry and remain until updated or cleared in your browser. A new policy version prompts a fresh analytics choice.

The restricted administration area stores an administrator sign-in token under le_admin_token. It is used only for administration and is removed on sign-out. Do not use a shared device for an administrator session without signing out.

3. Optional analytics

If an analytics integration is configured, we ask you to accept or reject it before loading its scripts. Accepted analytics can measure page visits and clicks on telephone, email, WhatsApp and catalogue links, as well as enquiry submission events. These measurements help us understand website use.

Google Analytics may set measurement cookies such as _ga. Their names and lifetimes depend on the configured service. Google Tag Manager may load tags configured by the site operator; any such tags must respect the chosen consent. Rejecting analytics stops our analytics scripts and event tracking from starting.

4. Managing your choice

Use Accept analytics or Reject analytics in the initial notice. Use Cookie settings below or in the footer to revisit your choice. If you withdraw previously accepted analytics, the website reloads to stop the loaded scripts and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies. Cookies on external providers cannot be removed by this website.

Your browser settings can block cookies and clear site data. Clearing site data also removes your saved quote list, theme and consent choice. Blocking all browser storage may prevent some preferences from persisting. A choice saved in one browser does not automatically apply to another browser or device.

5. External services and further information

Embedded maps, hosted product images and documents, and messaging services may receive network or device information when used or loaded. Optional analytics consent controls our analytics integration; it does not control services you visit directly.
