APOLLO ORB-OP-42001-MAR Orbis Marine Optical Smoke Detector

About this product

APOLLO ORB-OP-42001-MAR Orbis Marine Optical Smoke Detector operates on the well-established light scatter principle. However, the sensing technology is radically different in design from previous optical detectors and significantly reduces false alarms. Orbis Marine conventional fire detectors offer a wealth of features to save time, enhance reliability and reduce false alarms within the marine environment.

Key features

• Operates over a broad range of voltages at extremes of temperature
• Sensing chamber keeps out dust and other airborne contaminants
• Responds well to fast-burning, flaming fires
• Increased reliability of detection
• Reduced false alarms
