Kitemark-approved silicone-coated fire blanket
The NAFFCO NFB 1.4 fire blanket is made of fire-resistant glass fiber fabric with silicone coating, primarily intended for extinguishing cooking oil fires in kitchens. It deploys in less than five seconds and offers electrical resistance of not less than 1 MΩ, minimizing shock risk where live electrical equipment is involved. The 340 g/m² fabric resists temperatures up to 550°C, and blankets are supplied in a hard PVC red pack with quick-release pull tabs. The NFB series conforms to BS EN 1869:2019 and is BSI Kitemark and LPCB approved, with sizes from 1.1 x 1.1 m to 1.2 x 1.8 m.
