The Honeywell XNX Universal Transmitter is a fixed gas detection platform designed for hazardous locations, accepting electrochemical, catalytic bead and infrared sensor technologies to detect toxic gases, flammable gases (0-100% LEL) and oxygen depletion. It uses standard 4-20 mA wiring with HART communication, with options for Modbus and Fieldbus plus up to three relays, and a local HART adapter enables configuration and diagnostics with handheld devices. With more than 200 unique configurations, it satisfies intrinsically safe and explosion-proof requirements across oil and gas, chemical, wastewater and industrial applications.
