AFFF foam protection for Class A and B fires
The Shield SDF6 is a stored-pressure foam portable extinguisher charged with 6% AFFF synthetic aqueous film-forming foam, effective on Class A freely burning materials and Class B volatile liquid fires. A spray nozzle enhances fire rating while a thermoplastic internal coating protects the cylinder from corrosion. The range (SDF6, SDFI6, SDF9, SDFI9) is Kitemark certified to BS EN 3 with BSI (0086) certified cylinders. A brass nickel-chrome plated head valve gives controlled squeeze operation, and the unit is rechargeable and easy to service.
