Clean, non-conductive CO2 fire suppression
The Shield SDC5 is a 5 kg CO2 portable fire extinguisher in the SDC range (including SDC2, SDCS2, SDCZ2 and SDC5A variants), using colorless, odorless, non-toxic carbon dioxide that dissipates rapidly without residue. It is designed for Class B flammable liquid fires and is non-conductive, making it suitable for live electrical equipment in chemical plants, warehouses and laboratories. The seamless steel cylinder carries a brass head valve with squeeze operation, pressure relief disc and a swivel horn designed to prevent freeze-burn. The range is Kitemark certified to BS EN 3 with BSI (0086) PED compliance.
