SD LVT-65 | Shield Oblique Landing Valve (Male Threaded Inlet)
BS 5041 wet riser landing valve, Kitemark approved
The Shield SD LVT-65 oblique landing valve is designed for installation on wet risers permanently charged with pressurized water, at nominal inlet pressures up to 15 bar. The body, bonnet and blank cap are copper alloy to EN 1982 with a grey cast iron hand wheel to BS EN 1561, finished with a red body and black hand wheel. The delivery hose connection and blank cap comply with BS 336:2010, and the valve is BSI Kitemark approved to BS 5041 Part 1. A replaceable rubber disc facing, a gland seal replaceable under pressure and a hand wheel security strap with padlock simplify maintenance and prevent unauthorized use.
