It supports direct connection of two resistive temperature sensors, and the terminal can output either raw resistance values or converted temperature readings based on selectable sensor characteristics. Configured through Beckhoff TwinCAT software, the EL3202 allows users to choose the desired temperature conversion curve (Pt, Ni, KTY, etc.) and measurement mode. It supports both 2-wire and 3-wire sensor compensation, with 3-wire being the preferred method for reducing lead-wire resistance errors.
